Ultra Cine Steadicam

Tiffen's Ultra Cine Steadicam can support All Cameras (Includes 35mm, 16mm, HD & SD cameras weighing 45lbs or less). It has a 72" Telescoping Post which allows the Steadicam Operator to fly the camera up to 9 feet in the air, or glide the camera just inches above the ground. Its Ultra Bright LCD monitor allows the operator to see the signal from the camera clearly in broad daylight.

The sled and monitor are wired for all formats (including NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and all HD formats). The system offers a 15 degree tilt head which allows for pre-set tilting of the camera, and a wireless trim function which allows the operator to move the camera forward, aft or side-to-side during the shot. All devices and All Cameras can be powered from the sled.

Back Mount Harness

This custom carbon fiber back mount harness is a new, alternative approach to connecting the steadicam to the operator. One advantage is that it allows operators to carry more weight for longer periods of time. This harness combined with Tiffen's Ultra Cine Steadicam means All Cameras are supported!

Lens Control System

Preston Cinema has been THE name in wireless lens control for years. It is debatably the best, most reliable, and fastest system available. In addition, the system has been designed for compatibility with All Cameras and Lenses. The system offers three channels of communications, one for Iris, one for Zoom & one for Focus. It's automatic calibration function alls for quick lens changes. This system is included in my Professional Steadicam Package.

Modulus 3000 + DX400

The Modulus 3000 is a wireless video transmitter that broadcasts on TV channels 14 to 69. It can receive a signal from All Cameras that output a NTSC or PAL format signal, and can receive power from All Cameras that provide auxiliary power connections. Since this transmitter broadcasts over standard TV channels the transmission can be tuned in by any TV tuner. This is extremely useful!

In addition to the DX400 Diversity Tuner provided in the kit, I provide two handheld LCD TV's for various uses on set. This system is included in my Professional Steadicam Package.

Antlers

Antlers are a passive way to add additional stability to Any Camera being flown on the Steadicam. Antlers use simple physics to increase the Steadicam's moment of inertia... this helps combat wind, or adds stability to a telephoto shot. Best part... no power required! This accessory is included in ALL Steadicam Packages.

Gyros

Gyros are an active way to add additional stability to Any Camera being flown on the Steadicam. This is a more aggressive approach than the Antlers. This kit includes 3 gyros that get mounted strategically around the steadicam to increase the Steadicam's moment of inertia. This helps to combat wind, or adds stability to a telephoto shot. However, gyros DO require power and tend to make noise. This accessory is available by special request and at an additional charge.

Sony HDW-F900/3

This is Sony's premiere HDCAM camera. It's available for rental with any Steadicam package and comes with a Miranda DVC-800 down converter. In addition, it comes with a Fuji 10x5.2 HD Lens with 2x Extender. Additional Lenses or Cine Style lenses are available by request. This camera package is available by special request and at an additional charge.

Steadicam Teleprompter

This is a lightweight tele prompter intended for either Handheld of Steadicam applications. It is compatible with All Cameras and Lenses.

A 6.5" LCD is used for the prompter, and the prompted image is reflected off a polarized piece of glass that sits in front of the lens. Its a great tool for Steadicam walk and talks. This accessory is available by special request and at an additional charge.

CineSL - SL35 35mm / Super 35 MOS Camera Pkg.

This is a VERY lightweight 35mm camera... lighter than All Cameras that shoot 35mm. This makes it perfect for Steadicam... especially action shots. Running with this camera on the Steadicam is a dream. Keeping weights down for fast moving actions shots prevents the steadicam operator from getting hurt, and keeps him working longer. This camera package is available by special request and at an additional charge.

SpinTek

This is a great rain deflector! Its light, easy to power, and compatible with All Cameras and Lenses. It works by spinning a clear lens filter at high speeds in front of the lens. Any rain that hits the filter is immediately deflected off. All parts are waterproof. And don't worry... the filter and its movement is invisible to the camera. This accessory is available by special request and at an additional charge.

AR - Alien Revolution

The AR or Alien Revolution is an accessory for steadicam. This accessory is computer driven and constantly fights to keep the camera level. In addition, it allows the Steadicam Operator to switch from high mode to low mode mid shot... all the while keeping the camera level.

Its important to note that this system is NOT compatible with All Cameras. Most "modern" video cameras will work with it, however their handles typically need to be removed. As far as 35mm cameras go, the Arri 235 (non-sync), Arri LT, and the SL Cine (above) are the best choices. This accessory is available by special request and at an additional charge.

India Mount

The India Mount is a simple approach to a hard mount vehicle shot. This accessory is compatible with any vehicle with a 2" Hitch receptacle and a 300+ lbs. tongue weight. It provides a seat and mounting hardware to connect the steadicam arm and sled to the vehicle, and its strong enough to work with All Cameras. This accessory is available by special request and at an additional charge.

Preston FX Box

The Preston FX Box is an add-on accessory to the Preston FI+Z system that's already included with the Steadicam package. This system allows for Speed/Aperture/Shutter or Speed/Aperture ramping with 35mm and 16mm film cameras. Not All Cameras are compatible. Please contact me for a list of compatible cameras. This accessory is available by special request and at an additional charge.

Piccolo Crane

This compact camera crane offers a 20' reach with the steadicam in high mode, and offers the ability to execute Steadicam Step-On / Step-Off shots where the Steadicam Op rides the crane down to ground level and steps off to continue the shot on ground level. The effect is very powerful. This accessory is available by special request and at an additional charge.

ATV

This ATV has been outfitted for steadicam. It has air shocks, and all the hardware required to hard mount the sled and arm to the chassis. This system is great for off-road or city vehicle shots. This accessory is available by special request and at an additional charge.
