Black Rabbit, premiering on September 18th 2025, is the creation of Zach Baylin & Kate Sussman. This limited series was produced for Netflix by Jason Bateman’s Aggregate & Jude Law’s RiffRaff Entertainment. Semanoff was honored to be invited to direct episodes 105, Trailblazer & 106, Attaf**kinboy. This marked the second time Semanoff collaborated as a director with Bateman, being included amongst a small team of directors curated by and including Bateman who directed the first two installments.

Semanoff was excited to help Bateman build an unstable world, a la Uncut Gems. A world that day by day, and minute by minute grew more and more unstable. Crafting this evolution & building this tension was a fun challenge, but armed with an amazing crew, a stellar cast, and terrific writing positioned the show for success. Black Rabbit is a fun ride!
