
Ben Semanoff
Ben Semanoff is a New York based Film and Television Director whose work has been seen in breakout hits such as Showtime’s Yellowjackets, Tulsa King for Paramount+, and Netflix’s Ozark, for which Semanoff received an Emmy nomination in 2020 for Outstanding Direction. Semanoff transitioned to Directing after a successful 20-year career as A-Camera Operator on such films as Creed, Collateral Beauty and The Upside. His work as an A-Camera Operator in television included HBO’s The Leftovers, The Outsider, and Showtime’s The Affair, as well as being nominated for Camera Operator of the Year for three consecutive years for his work on HBO’s The Night Of in 2017 as well as seasons one and two of Netflix’s Ozark in 2018 and 2019. Semanoff, a graduate of Temple University, lives in Doylestown, PA with his wife Erica and two children.
